Mentorship training

Description

At the NCO Mentorship Academy, the program that guides, inspires, supports and tutor young and aspiring nurses and other healthcare professionals.

If you’re interested in becoming a Mentor, thank you in advance for wanting to share your skills and knowledge with someone who could use your help.

With the NMA, we will match you with a MENTEE who is perfect for you with information provided on your application, Matching research and occasionally from a follow up call. We ask you to give up one hour every week for the program of 6 months to help your MENTEE succeed.

There may be a formal training (if applicable with a fee for Fresh Mentors) with this program, but we’ll send you information every week to help you and your Mentee get the most out of your partnership. You can choose whether you prefer to mentor in person, over the phone or with Zoom, or you can choose to do all three. ​

Mentoring is on a rolling basis.
