It has being my greatest wish to see my self achieved my long term goals, most especially in career advancement and attaining/achieving a higher qualifications in Nursing profession for the betterment and uplifting the standard of nurses and Nursing profession at large.
For the past 2-3 months, I saw an advert concerning scholarship award by FUTURE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP BOARD from Facebook and WhatsApp page through 9ja Nurse blog and without wasting time I quickly apply for that particular Scholarship.
Weeks ago, I received the email congratulating me that I was among the 25 candidates that were selected for an interview.
I was scheduled for the interview which took place on Zoom meeting app, I was interview by three vibrant and high qualified Nursing leaders of which some are holding/have P.H.D in Nursing, by hearing their academic qualifications I was like wowš³.. and will be interview by this high class people ” I don enter soupš” (saying that in my mind which actually show on my face) and immediately they saw that on my face, they quickly ask me to calm down and relax my nerves “it’s just an interview nothing moreš” says by one of the board members, it was then that I put my self together, adjust and get ready for the questions.
I was asked Ten (10) questions by the three board members of which I was able to answer all except one which I could not be able to get the full answer but I still answer it though. The interview lasted for about 10 minutes and at the end I was told to wait for their feedback through email.
On the (18/08/2022), around 1:10am (Nigeria time), I received another email from FUTURE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP BOARD congratulating me that I won the Scholarship award.
For the board members FUTURE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, Thank you so much for this great opportunity been given to me, thanks alot for seeing me worthy of this scholarship award. I am very much grateful for this organization and I promise to put more effort and work more towards achieving my long term goals in Nursing profession.
We need more organizations like future nursing scholarships to see that young nurses achieved their long term goals in terms of nursing education, nursing leadership and other aspects of nursing profession which will contribute heavily in promoting and uplifting nurses and nursing profession to it’s optimal standard.
Thank you so much the management of Future Nursing Scholarships, I remain grateful and I hope other organizations will copy the good things you have being doing in Nursing profession.
